Ver monster
Need help figuring out some moves with bye weeks coming up. I drafted AP with the 5th pick and now I am hurting. Though it looks like I might be 3 - 0, my team has gotten lucky with weak match ups. Need help figuring out what to do moving forward. Here is my team : QB: N Foles, A Dalton RB: A Ellington (week 4 bye), A Bradshaw, A Peterson WR: B Marshall, C Patterson, G Tate, M Wheaton, J Gordon TE: N Paul, J Reed K: S Graham DST: Ravens (streaming) So my bench has Peterson, Gordon, and Reed, all useless right now. Haven't been able to let go of Peterson though odds are he doesn't return. I'm just trying to sit tight until his lack of return is official. . I would like to stash Gordon unless I get a good offer for him. Don't know whether to cut Reed or hold onto him. I think he and Paul will have less value when he returns. I need to add a RB for week 4 as Ellington is on bye. I am a rookie fantasy player and I am hooked, but man I could use some advice on my next move. Who do I cut first? Wheaton? Dalton? Reed? Peterson? Gordon? I am in standard league starting 3 WR and 2 RB. Thank you!
sksmith
Keeper league? I think that is AP's only value at this point. If keeper, I'd shop him around. If not, I'd drop him. What's available on the wire?
Ver monster
Not a keeper league. Not much available on the wire for RB, top targets would be A Blue, B Sankey, S Greene, or Taliaferro from Ravens. Also, J McKinnon, but he hasn't shown much so far. It hurts too much to let Peterson go for garbage on the wire. I guess I am in denial that he is done. I will most likely be one of two undefeated teams so I will be last on waiver wire. Don't know what to do. Offer gordon and Peterson for an injured foster maybe, but don't know if it is insulting to even propose that offer. Again, I am new to this. sksmith
Yeah, that's slim pickens on the wire (lot of potential, but no guarantees) I gave up AP earlier this week; I really don't see a scenario where he touches the field again. I'd look at all the teams in your league and see who has deficiencies and/or byes in certain positions that you could make a move with. Get creative...the worst they can say is 'no'
