jacobg84
Team is in my signature. Plan to drop Colts for Ravens as said and have a waiver in to pick up Doug Martin and drop Matt Jones. I dropped Alfred Morris last week on advice here but now appears he is 50/50% in Redskins backfield with Jones so would like to stay away from Washington I think. Someone who likes making trades in our league offered me Forte and Jeffery for Brees and Latavius Murray. Latavius has not had a good start and now some say he may face competition in the backfield whereas there is no one else in Chicago. My RB's have been my solid saving grace every week, where I have really suffered is WR production. I started Evans and Megatron yesterday and left James Jones and Moncrief benched and I ended up losing by 1 point because of Megatron's fumble. Jeffery has been a disappointment. Mediocre week 1 and injured since then. They say he might come back week 5 but if he continues to be injured then maybe it is time to sell high on him? Is Brees enough of an upgrade from Eli to make the downgrade from Forte to Latavius Murray worth it, along with losing Jeffery? Am thinking this is not a good deal for me but just wanted to see what everyone thought. Others have told me that I should upgrade my QB situation and I do like Brees but he didn't seem 100% yesterday and I worry I would be giving up too much with Forte considering how beastly he has been. Feel free to tell me what you think of the deal and also if you think there's a better one I should propose. Here is the roster of the guy who offered me a trade: QB: Brees, Tyrod Taylor WR: Demaryius Thomas, Hopkins, Cooper, Robinson RB: Latavius Murray, Forsett, Ivory, Stewart, Coleman TE: Gronk, Eifert K: McManus DEF: Broncos Edited October 6, 2015 by jacobg84
falcoholic
1) Brees backward arm extension has taken a hit since his shoulder injury. Yes he can still laser a pass but he has his limits and that'll take more than just a few weeks to regain. I wouldn't want him when he's half-healthy. 2) Forte is not only a beast of a RB, regardless of last few stats, he's a pass catcher and more-so than Murray. I would keep him because of that. 3) I think this trade is slightly tilted towards him simply because he's going to strengthen his RB lineup while you're just staying level (not getting worse nor getting any better) 4) Some are going to get hostile when I say this but it's simply my opinion, Eli is more reliable than Brees at this point. I repeat, AT THIS POINT lol

He's got the bye week done already and I wonder what I'd have to give up for him: Forte + Kelce for Gronk + who from his roster? His first offer was Brees for Forte straight up. I countered with Forte and Kelce for Brees and Gronk. Edited October 6, 2015 by jacobg84
