Trade Antonio Gates for Dion Lewis?

Hey all,

Was wondering what everyone thinks if I traded Antonio Gates for Dion Lewis. My initial thought was to trade either Gates or Olsen and one of my elite WR's, for potentially Matt Forte or someone. But this could be a solid option, idk.

I'm in a 12-man CBS Sports League, and here is my current roster:

QB:

-Russell Wilson

-Eli Manning

RB:

-Adrian Peterson

-Mark Ingram

WR:

-Nelson Agholor

-James Jones

-T.Y. Hilton

-DeSean Jackson

-Travis Benjamin

TE:

-Greg Olsen

-Antonio Gates

12team and above, unless the other owner is 0-5/1-4 and has a terrible TE and is otherwise stacked at RB, Gates for Lewis straight up is going to be a hard sell. Gates had a great game (I played him) but unlikely to keep putting up those numbers. Lewis has been solid and consistent RBs are harder to come by. I play ppr so maybe more viable in standard but even then seems like tough sell.

You're fine at RB man, you need a WR. James Jones is a solid play each week in my opinion, and the best WR you got right now. I'd try to package Gates and one of your other WRs and aim to get someone like Hopkins, Edelman, Marshall, Maclin, Sanders, Cooper, etc. Look for a team that is weak at TE and has a deep WR core.
