Fantasy Trade analyze

Recommended Posts

In a standard scoring 10 team league where you have to keep 3 players each year my top players are:

David Johnson

Gronkowski

Allen Robinson

Doug Martin

Amari Cooper

Carlos Hyde

My fairly easy decision is holding onto the top 3 listed players .

Thoughts?

Anyhow I proposed a trade with a guy in my fantasy league

to give him Doug Martin and Allen Robinson for Deandre Hopkins. What I think is a pretty good deal for him. Anyhow the trade didn't go through and I can't say I'm that upset about it because I love Allen Robinson and have some questions about Brock osweiler (not that I think he can be much worse that recent past Texan qbs). At the end of the day I don't want the players I'm not keeping to go to waste. Preferably I'd like to trade my players for picks before the season starts.

Out of 30 keepers A player like Doug Martin has to be worth something , right?

Yes, but I will NEVER trade for players just so I can strengthen YOUR team by giving you picks for players you cant keep anyway.

IM in a 12 team 3 keeper league. I traded LeVeon bell for what will be either the 2 or 3rd pick in our draft.

As a result of this trade, I will be keeping Newton, Decker and Jordy Nelson, and I will also be getting what I think will be the 2nd, 4th, and 9th picks in the entire draft. Others will not be happy that someone made this trade wit me.

So essentiaally I will be replacing LeVeon Bell with TWO of the following: Ezekial Elliot, AJ Green, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffrey, Jamal Chares, Doug Martin, Eddie Lacy, Edelman, or Dymarus Thomas.

AND I got to keep Eric Decker as well.

and the best part...... I picked up Leveon Bell at the very end of our season when his owner dropped him....lol. So essentially I grabbed a guy off waivers and parlayed him into keeping my 1st rd pick, adding 1st rd pick, AND being able to keep Eric Decker...lol.

There is so much more to this game than just drafting players.

Late last season I was able to trade Hurns(WR Jacksoville) for DeAngelo Williams as I had very good WR, but lacked RB. I was alreay good, Williams put me over top andd other owners cried all day abut the trade, but it was a GREAT move for Williams owner, as he was out of the running, and he gets to keep hurns this year for only a 12th rd pick.

I drafted Jordy Nelson last year in rd 10..... just to hold his but to keep this year. Thats why my team name is,"The One!"

I love talking manure to my fellow owners.

I agree with Reid1boys... you have to think like a top Fantasy GM and not just at next week's lineup.

My offseason trade was...

I give

- Delanie Walker

- Jeremy Maclin

- Jeremy Hill

- John Brown

- 3rd round pick (24th overall)

- 10th round pick

I get

- Ladarius Green

- Michael Crabtree

- Ben Rothlisberger

- 1st round pick (6th overall)

- 11th round pick

I've given him 3 guys that he'll keep, and sadly improve his roster, so its a plus for him...yet rewards me for stocking the roster with talent that can be traded in the off-season.

I'm not keeping any of those players yet Ladarius will be a TE target of mine when I release him back into the draft...so essentially I gave up a 3rd and 10th rounder for a 1st and 11th rounder.
