I have myself quite the dilema. I've been offered a trade of Ronnie Brown and Antonio Gates for Edgerrin James. With Indy possibly resting their stars in Week 15-17, I'm thinking this might not be too big a gamble to make for my playoff run. I'm currently 9-1 in my league, and trading Edge is a HUGE step, especially since he's gotten me this far. Before I go on, here's my roster. I start 1 QB, 3 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE and the Normal K and Defense.
QB: Palmer, Warner
RB: Edge, F. Taylor, G Jones, C Brown, T Henry, Duckett, M. Morris
WR: Holt, Mason, Mi Clayton, Ferguson, B Jones
TE: Shockey
As you can see, my starting lineup is usually, Palmer, Edge, Taylor/Jones, Brown, Holt and Shockey. If I made the trade, I upgrade at TE and downgrade at RB. Should I stay with what I have or make the gamble? I think Ronnie Brown will be come the premire RB once Miami is out of the running because Saban will want to look to the future and Gates is the best TE in the biz. I'd lose Edge for the final 2 weeks of the regular season and maybe 1 week of the playoffs seeing i have a Bye in Round 1.
I need all the advise I can get.
Thanks.
