1 game left and Holt has 86 catches for 1,096 yards and 7 TD's. I apologize for being a little off on the catches and yards. Currently ranked 15 for WR's in my league. Holt has his fewest TD's since 2002 and his lowest YPC in his career. Please say this average year that put him OUT OF THE TOP 10 is because of other reasons instead of accepting the fact that Holt lost a step. if you did not waste an early pick on him. I will give a guarantee prediction next year and I will certainly try harder to be dead on with the statistics. Being 6 catches and 46 yards off with 1 game to play is unacceptable to me. I assume you are being serious. First of all, he is still out of the top 10 as predicted. Secondly, if you do not think he lost a step then you are nuts. There were 2 plays yesterday that the old Holt would have scored. 2 of my buddies at the bar even looked over and said to me "man, Holt looks slow". If you are such a big fan, can you honestly say he does not look like he lost a step or 2? He is still very good and the #1 option in the passing game. That pass where he caught a post and got tackled on the 6 yard line, the old Holt would have split the seam for a TD. Therefore he will not finish in the top 10 even with a healthy Bulger because Holt has simply lost a step.

If you think his skills have not diminished due to his age and injuries then you are a complete idiot. Take your blue and yellow glasses off buddy. I am a Steelers fan and that is like saying that Ward's skills have not diminished as he is getting older. Is Holt still very good? Yes. Is he elite? Not any longer.

Hey tough guy. It would be a different story if you made that post and 6 pages of posts said you were nuts. I still have not heard 1 person that has man love for Holt come out and say they had him overvalued. Injuries or no injuries to the team, he is obviously no longer a stud receiver.

As a homer you should have known that Holt has digressed since the greatest show on turf left St. Louis. Given his age, injuries, Bulger injuries, a terrible o-line prior to this years injuries.......it should not have been that hard to see that he would not be a top 10 WR. That was the point of my original post. I am done for now. Next year, I will give everyone something to think about with another prediction. For now, just know that I am in a League with Menudo for the past 10 years. I have 5 championships and Menudo has none.....no I do not play in free yahoo leagues, nor do I spend all day, every day chatting on message boards. Simply put, I am brilliant.

Through 1/4 of the season. I am a little off. Take his stats and multiply by 4 and you get the following. 92 catches for 1,048 yards and 8 TD's. I am pissed that I am off by 2 yards at this point. I think my predicitions are going to be very inflated come year end....and Holt has not been hurt yet.

And before anyone thinks about an idiotic reply like SJax going down or Pace going down is the reason for this, you are wrong. Pace certainly has an impact but this line is so bad with or without Pace. SJax going down should only force them to pass more but they can't because Bulger gets hammered. Bulger gets hammered means he can not get an aging Holt the ball. The Greatest Show on Turf is OVER.....in case you missed it, it is over in Detroit. Linehan sucks, so do the Rams, therefore so does Holt. Unfortunately some people could not see it.

I think I mentioned a few reasons why his numbers are down and why they will stay down. Are these not reasons why?
