  1. Should I make this trade? I've been offered Knowshon Moreno and Chris Chambers for Desean Jackson and Anthony Gonzalez. Non-PPR, std scoring, 2RB/2WR/1Flex league. I'm not convinced Moreno will be the feature back and I'm not sure if he'll get goalline carries. He'll also likely be riding my bench to begin the season as I already have some good RB's. You can never have too many RB's though. I've also seen some websites that are have a major man-crush on Moreno this year. If I make this trade, I'll be forced to start either Donnie Avery or Torry Holt at WR. My other RB's: Matt Forte Clinton Portis Darren McFadden My other WR's: Steve Smith (Car) Donnie Avery Torry Holt Thoughts? EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to mention it's a non-keeper league.
  2. In past years, having the top pick may mean having a dominant guy that would put that fantasy team in the playoffs. Doesn't seem like it this year.
  3. Thanks for the comments, guys. I agree. I was leaning toward benching Santonio Holmes against Baltimore.
  4. Houshmandzadeh at home against Cleveland Lee Evans at St Louis Braylon Edwards at Cincinnati Santonio Holmes at home against Pittsburgh Std scoring, non-PPR league. Houshmandzadeh's an automatic start given his last week's performance. The guys a stud. Lee Evans is playing at St Louis, where they give away TD's like it's Christmas. The question is whether I should start Braylon Edwards when he's struggled all year, but he's playing a soft defense or if I should start Santonio Holmes when he hasn't done well this year (but has excuses). In game 1, Holmes wasn't needed. In game 2, he played in a hurricane. In game 3, his QB was sacked a million times.
  5. Technically, Kevin Smith started the game, but he only got 3 carries for 19 yards to Rudi Johnson's 14 carries for 83 yards. They've got a week 4 bye, so I doubt many people would be picking up Rudi Johnson this week off the waiver wire. Would he be a good pickup in anticipation for week 5 and beyond?
  6. Well, I made the trade... I'm getting Braylon Edwards and I'm giving up Ryan Grant. Now during the 1 day period for objections, there have already been 2 objections. This seems like a really fair trade to me. Would any of you guys object? And if so, who's getting the better deal? I suspect 2 guys just don't want other people trading.
  7. Non PPR league, std scoring (6pts TD, 1pt/10 yds rushing/receiving). I think both guys will rebound, but I'm more interested in which guy will be playing hurt all year long. I'm leaning toward keeping Grant since I feel like he's got more potential to score huge each week. Would you guys rather have Ryan Grant or Braylon Edwards?
  8. In real life, you never cheer when another player goes down... but this is fantasy football. For you NON-Brady owners only, were you cheering when Brady went down? Be honest.
  9. Actually, the Packers don't practice on Wednesdays, so he didn't really miss practice again.
  10. Okay, I invested a 2nd round pick on Ryan Grant. He didn't take any snaps in the preseason and now I just read he didn't participate in practice. I'm getting a bit nervous about him. Anyone have any inside info? What's going on? Think he'll play on Monday night?
  11. Lee Evans against Seattle Chris Perry against Baltimore Ricky Williams against NY Jets Fred Taylor against Tennessee
  12. I'm in a non-PPR performance based league (6pt per TD, 1pt per 10yds rushing and receiving). I need to pick one of these guys to start as a flex position. Lee Evans Chris Perry Ricky Williams Fred Taylor Right now I'm leaning toward Lee Evans since the other 3 guys are likely to split carries. What do you guys think?
