  1. Jennings could be back as soon as next week, nobody really knows, but when he does return it should be at the expense of James Jones more than Jordy.
  2. Okay, makes sense to me. Thanks for your replies!
  3. Yeah, I get that Haden or Revis being out is an obvious boon to the opposing #1 WR, but the kind of information Keggerz brought up is more what I'm talking about. The shutdown corners and pass rushers get a lot of attention but not so much the other positions. I guess my point is just that there are a million sites reporting things like "Donald Brown is out so start Vick Ballard", but not many (that I can find at least) reporting info like "Nose tackle and run-stopper for the Jets is out so start Vick Ballard". It would also help to know for D/ST purposes.
  4. Maybe I'm off base here, but it seems like defensive injuries are rarely talked about when evaluating offensive players on the opposing team. (Not just on the Huddle, but across the industry.) Hypothetically, if the Seahawks best pass rushing defensive end is inactive, shouldn't Brady be bumped up a bit? Or say the Seahawks starting MLB (their leading tackler) is out - do you bump Ridley in your rankings? I'm guessing defensive injuries aren't often taken into account because it's unclear exactly which skill players on the offense might benefit. But are there any sources out there that even try to really dig deep with the impact of a defensive starter being out? At best all I might see is an injury mentioned in passing, but with no further recommendation as to what it means or the significance.
  5. Thanks for the link, but the other thread wasn't much help. They never really came to a conclusion, and most of the conjecture focused on MJD being there at 4 - he won't be. I'm beginning to lean towards Tomlinson for a couple of reasons. His schedule looks to be the easiest of the three backs. After a stretch of Baltimore, Miami, Pittsburgh and bye week, he has it pretty damn easy the rest of the year. Meanwhile Turner's schedule is just nasty. Only Buffalo (week 16) did not rank in the top 20 in rushing defense (ypg) last year. SJax falls somewhere in between - he has to face Minn. and Wash. early but then his schedule also resembles a cakewalk, including Houston and Arizona weeks 15-16. Thoughts?
  6. 12-team point-per-reception league drafting tomorrow and I have the 4th pick. Assuming AP, MJD, and Forte go 1-3 (if not I'll take one of them) who should I draft next? This basically boils down to: Michael Turner (with his tough schedule and lack of receptions) Steven Jackson (coming back from injuries on the Rams inept offense) or LaDanian Tomlinson (trying to hold off age and Sproles). We start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex 5 pts Pass/td, 6 pts Rush/Rec TD, 1/25 pass, 1/10 rush/red Thanks.
