  1. Indeed it's pretty close. But... I'm confident over time McCoy will put up the consistent numbers that Dez cannot. I simply like star RBs over star WRs due to less factors to consider like poor QB play or double teaming from CBs. Plus, Ball is looking pretty subpar at this point.... I'll be keeping Ellington who should be an awesome pairing with McCoy once he's much healthier. Hopefully the bye week will do Ellington's foot some good that will last well into the season.
  2. Thought I'd pitch in here since you gave your input on my trade I would go with this order from most valuable to least valuable: Murray, Bernard, Charles First off, the sample size is quite small so it's not easy to make firm conclusions. But... with what we've seen thus far, I'd say Murray stands out over the rest. He's 51 attempts so far. That's the second most in the league. This says: A. He's pretty healthy. B. They like running the ball through him consistently enough each game. Again, who knows if this will continue but if you're looking at what we're seeing so far, it's a positive you'll want to take a look at. Bernard has 41 attempts so far. It's much less than Murray. Jeremy Hill seems to be cutting into his attempts a bit. I don't like to use RBs that share if I can help it regardless of how many points they rack up each week. Give me talent and volume over simply talent any day. Finally, I'm not hot on Charles this season. Not only do you have to take into account the games he's missing, you have to take into account how healthy he'll be when he returns. Too much uncertainty when you have a huge stud in Murray to use. Also, think about Davis's impact on things. If he plays well, they may not rush to bring Charles back so soon which could mean less playing time for Charles in the short run. Hope this helps!
  3. It's a trade I was thinking of offering. I haven't offered it as of yet. I figured he's weak at QB with Foles and Mark Sanchez. Foles actually have been putting up respectable fantasy points but he's simply not as trustworthy as Luck in my opinion over a span of an entire season. Also, Dez should make up for the fantasy points McCoy was giving and he's getting Ball to replace McCoy at his RB position... so he doesn't have to worry about being out of a starting RB. As for playing against him, I play him next I feel with this trade I'd still come out on top this week with my newly formed squad. Thanks for your input!!
  4. Thanks for your input Fireman! I thought about the effects of loosing Luck and figured Wilson is steady enough to hold down that position. I might loose 5 - 9 points a week using Wilson over Luck according to production thus far. It's not too much of a drop off. I prefer to have a McCoy over Dez due to the fact that the offense in Philly revolves around McCoy. That's not to say Dez doesn't play a major role in the Dallas offense, but McCoy is the backbone of that the Eagle's offense. Plus, there's little teams can do to defend against McCoy's running but Dez can be hampered at times by a pressured Romo or strong double teaming.
  5. Hey Everyone, So, I'm looking to make a trade in my 10 team PPR league. My RB position is a bit weak in my opinion so I'd like to make some improvements. My team is as follows: QB: Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson....... (Kirk Cousins is on the waiver wire) RB: Montee Ball, Terrance West, Andre Ellington, Donald Brown WR: Dez Bryant, Brandon Marshall, Brian Quick, Josh Gordon, Wes Welker, and Michael Floyd TE: Larry Donnell, Jordan Cameron The person I'm trading with has the following team: QB: Nick Foles, Mark Sanchez RB: LeSean McCoy, DeMarco Murray, Carlos Hyde, Dexter McCluster WR: Golden Tate, Jeremy Maclin, Brandin Cooks, Anquan Boldin, Hakkem Nicks TE: Gronk, Zach Ertz I'm thinking of giving up Andrew Luck, Dez Bryant, and Montee Ball for LeSeasn McCoy and one of these three WR (Golden Tate, Jeremy Maclin, and Brandin Cooks). I figured I can always use Russell Wilson as my go-to QB for most weeks and pick up Kirk Cousins off the waiver wire. I'll have the option of starting Russell when he plays at home, since he seems to do so well at home, and playing Kirk Cousins a few weeks when the matchup favors Cousins. Personally, I'd go with LeSean McCoy and Maclin over the other WR based on the share volume of passes he's been receiving so far..... but I also feel that Tate is a solid WR at the #2 WR spot in Detroit. Thanks very much for the all the help here!!
