We never really set forth any rules for this situation. Is there a standard set of rules that most follow for this sort of thing or does it vary league to league? Thanks!

Hi everyone! Hopefully someone can help me out with something. I am the commissioner of a league and everyone is angry at a move I recently made with Adrian Peterson which in my view was completely legitimate! So an owner in my league who had Adrian Peterson as his "keeper" dropped him earlier this week. I then picked him up with the intention of keeping him the next two years. Everyone is saying that I can't do that! Nobody has any valid reason other than "he was someone else's keeper". Well, in my view as soon as you drop your keeper... He is no longer yours and is fair game! Am I wrong here? Please help! Thank you!
