Thank you all for the input. Unfortunately I was outbid in FAAB money on Howard, but as a consolation prize, I acquired Detroit's Dwayne Washington and dropped Powell for considerably less money, so I hope that pans out.
I know this seems obvious he is worth picking up, but who would be a viable drop candidate? Or hold and wait?
QB: Rivers, Carr
RB: Elliott, McCoy, Sims, Sproles, Powell
WR: Robinson, Hilton, Floyd, DJax, Gordon, Enunwa
TE: Thomas, Ebron
D: Denver
This is my current team (league is 10 team PPR, We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 RB/WR Flex, 1 TE and 1 DEF).
QB: P. Rivers
RB: E. Elliot, L. McCoy
WR: A. Robinson, T. Hilton, M. Floyd
TE: J. Thomas
Flex: D. Woodhead
DEF KC Chiefs
Bench
D. Jackson
J. Gordon
C. Sims
D. Sproles
J. Cook
B. Powell
A. Morris
I'm a bit worried about Rivers matchup against KC and Derek Carr is on waivers. Since he plays the Saints, he has a great matchup. If I pick up Carr, then I'd most likely drop Morris. My opponent for week 1 has Newton, who has a bad matchup with the Broncos. Since it's a Thursday game I could wait and see if Newton flops and play Rivers or just go with the great matchup and stream between Carr and Rivers this season.
For my 10 team PPR league we can keep two players from last years draft. They cost us two rounds earlier than where we picked them last year. At this time the players that I can keep (and what pick they will cost me) are:
Allen Robinson in the 4th (drafted in the 6th last yr).
John Brown in the 7th
Tyler Eifert in the 9th
Phillip Rivers in the 12th
Robinson is a definite keeper, barring any major injury before our draft, and right now I'm leaning on Eifert just for the value at 9, even though he may miss some time. Or go with Rivers or Brown, but I feel like I could get those guys around those same rounds (maybe one or two closer). What are your suggestions everyone? Thanks in advance.
