  1. Thanks for the reply. It is a 12 team league. I'm not sure exactly how many keepers will be QBs. Looking at last year's draft, I think there should be a fair number of QBs available.
  2. Definitely keep Nelson and Allen. That is a lot of money to put into wide receivers, but I think the value of keeping Jones or Beckham in a PPR is too much to pass on. I would personally go with Beckham, but you'd be okay with either one. That would leave you with 103 dollars. The questions I would ask are: 1) Could you get a QB comparable to Carr for 8? I would say yes. 2) Could you get a RB2 comparable to Woodhead for 8? I would say no. My guess is his price would be a little bit higher than that. I see most places value him at about $8, but once you take into account the inflation made by the cheap keeper picks (e.g. Nelson for $7) he'd probably go for the mid teens or potentially higher if someone really needs a RB. Also, at $8 in a PPR, he'd be a low risk, relatively high reward player. For those reasons, I'd keep Beckham (or Jones if you'd prefer), Nelson, Allen, and Woodhead. That would give you $95 to spend on 1 RB, 1 TE, and a QB (+d/k/reserves). Very manageable indeed.
  3. Agreed. I think you need to target one of them. I'd go Charles if I had the choice, but it's pretty much a dealers choice.
  4. If you don't grab a running back, you way have the worst backfield in the league (as you said - the 7th pick is acutally the 21st , so your 3rd round pick would be somewhere in the upper 40's depending on what draft picks were lost to keepers). I'd say Miller or Charles. Personally, I love Charles in Reid's system in a PPR, but given his ACL he is riskier.
  5. Hey guys, I was the runaway winner with my team last year thanks to a slew of wide receivers and my 3 previous keepers. Need help selecting keepers for next year. I feel like I have a lot of good candidates. The rules are as followed: standard league w/ 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 1 flex, 1 D/ST, 1 K. You may keep 3 for the price you drafted them for, or 20 dollars for free agent pick ups. $200 budget. My draft is as followed: QB: Cam Newton $5 RB Adrian Peterson $56 (kept him from the previous year) RB Le 'Veon Bell $33 (kept him from the previous year) RB DeAngelo Williams $6 WR DeAndre Hopkins $2 (kept him from the previous year) WR Jordan Matthews $38 WR Brandon Marshall $22 WR Allen Robinson $12 TE (traded Seferian-Jenkins) TE Gates $1 D/ST Chiefs $1 K Vinatieri $1 The rest of the team were not players that I drafted, but none are worth $20. Lot of good choices there I think. I'm definitely keeping Hopkins at $2, and I think Bell is a keeper at $33 (w/ Williams as a must target hand-cuff). I'm really undecided between Newton (w/ Benjamin coming back), Peterson, and Robinson. Typically I don't invest heavily on QBs, as I feel like I can usually find a decent one cheaply, and if I grab my second w/r I think I could make a play at grabbing Peterson for about the same value. For those reasons, I was leaning towards making Allen Robinson my 3rd keeper (also better long term value over AP), but am up for suggestions.
