  1. Wilford playing Monday night at home vs. PIT. Not targeted all that much last game, but good upside. Rhodes at home vs. HOU - figuring they'll be good opportunity for goalline carries... but Addai did look better last game. Check sig for other flex options - planning on starting Edge/Taylor and Moss/Burress/Cotchery. I think Wilford and Rhodes are the best to choose from out of what's left (Keyshawn and Clayton). League gives points for receptions. Thanks-
  2. Hey Hugh- Advice needed on my RB spots... Need to pick 3 out of the 4. Dillon @ DEN Jones vs. CAR S. Davis @ DET Bettis vs. JAC All face tough run DEF, aside from Davis. Dillon might be injured, but you never know with NE. Davis should get more carries with Foster out. Bettis looked good last week and Jones is heating up (a bit). Who would you pick to start in my 3 RB spots? Team and scoring in sig... Thanks.
  3. Who would you guys pick to start in my 3 RB spots? Team and scoring in sig... Thanks.
  4. Not looking good for Battle... anyone else?
  5. Who do you guys like better for a 3 WR start? A. Battle vs. ARI (in Mexico City) B. Jones vs. IND Battle is listed as questionable but has the better matchup. Not sure if he will play though. Jones has been heavily targeted lately and with Bennett slightly injured, do you think McNair will continue to through to the rookie? But IND def. has been tough. Who do you think is the better start? WR's get points for receptions in my league. Thanks!
  6. Hugh- Need some advice for my 3 WR and team DEF. Battle vs. ARI (in Mexico City) or Engram @ WAS Leaning towards Battle based on matchup, but Engram has been pretty solid (we get pts. for receptions) and Battle is nursing a hammy injury. SF vs. ARI or CAR vs. GB I'm thinking some good sacks and INT's in the SF and ARI game, but we get penalized for points allowed. GB has not looked great and CAR is playing at home on Monday night - will they stuff the Pack? Thanks - team and scoring in sig.
  7. Engram @ WAS Battle @ ARI (Mexico City) Both receivers have posted similar stats, with Battle getting an edge on TD's (2), while Engram has 0. Battle is listed as probable with a strained hammy. Despite the injury, I'm leaning towards Battle b/c I think it will be more of a shootout, and WAS defense has been pretty solid. Any thoughts? Team and scoring in sig. Thanks.
  8. Couldn't find any previous info on making a decision between these two... I have Leftwich starting, but am having second thoughts. Leftwich has had great games recently against Indy and looked sharp last week. And there is the possibility that Leftwich will have to be throwing it a lot to play catch up. But, CLE def is average at best and Favre is playing at home with something to prove after Week 1's abysmal performance. Am I overthinking this - should Leftwich get the start? Or do you think Favre comes through with a monster game against a mediocre def? Team, scoring in sig. Thanks.
  9. Thanks - thought about it more and decided to drop DET and go with Dallas...
  10. Playing matchups until I get a solid DEF worth keeping... Picked up Detroit against the Bears this week - they looked solid vs. Green Bay, but that might not be saying much. But do the Bear's have a better offense than Green Bay? Dallas is available and Washington's offense is not looking great and they are starting a "new" QB in Brunell. While not scoring many DEF points last week, they did face a much tougher SD team and Dallas is playing at home on MNF. What DEF has the potential to score me more points? Below is our DEF scoring: Sack (1) Interception (2) Fumble Recovery (2) Touchdown (6) Safety (2) Block Kick (2) Points Allowed 0 points (10) Points Allowed 1-6 points (7) Points Allowed 7-13 points (4) Points Allowed 14-20 points (1) Points Allowed 21-27 points (-3) Points Allowed 28-34 points (-7) Points Allowed 35+ points (-10) Thanks-
  11. I would start T.J. over Engram... Palmer is playing well and tends to target his WR's in the red zone.
  12. I agree with the guys above - try trading one of your stud RB's for Moss, Johnson or T.O.
  13. Need a third receiver to start alongside Horn and A. Johnson... Who would you start: L. Evans @ TB B. Engram vs. ATL Both play tough defenses, and both performed fairly well last week. I think that Evans has more of a chance for a long TD but Engram will rack up more receptions. Losman faces a much tougher DEF this week in Tampa Bay and I have to think the matchup is better for Hasselback to hit Engram on more occasions. Engram was targeted 9 times last week and caught 8 of them... he looked good. League awards points for receptions and TD's. Thoughts? Thanks!
  14. Hey Doc- Need a third receiver to start alongside Horn and A. Johnson... Who would you start: L. Evans @ TB B. Engram vs. ATL Both play tough defenses, and both performed fairly well last week. I think that Evans has more of a chance for a long TD but Engram will rack up more receptions. Engram was targeted 9 times last week and caught 8 of them... he looked good. League awards points for receptions and TD's. Thoughts? Thanks!
  15. Hugh - few questions: Favre at home vs. CLE or Leftwich at Indy? Better matchup for Favre, but leaning towards Leftwich - think they will be throwing it more in that game. Also, which of the following would you pick to start in my RB/WR flex spot: S. Davis vs. NE (tough matchup but he looked good last week and would like some production from him before another injury) B. Jacobs @ NO (good chance for another TD, but not the yardage that Davis will get) C. Rogers @ CHI (bad matchup and just read that Lions are sticking with their conservative passing game) B. Engram vs. ATL (caught 8 of 9 passes thrown to him last week... but faces a stronger DEF this week) I'm leaning towards Davis out of the above crew - thoughts? Team and scoring in sig. Thanks!
