I'm posting here as my Board was hacked beyond recognition back in March.

I'm also posting here as TheHuddle won the 3 or 4 of these back from 2001 to 2004.

 

 It used to be a rich tradition steeped in Championship after Championship here but TheHuddle Board is fading away from this comp involving bragging rights against seven other Chat Boards.

 The premise is invented by an original Huddle Member here named Voltaire.

 

 96 players, 8 different Drafts to trade in and out of to get values where they fall... we all value players differently from Todd Gurley to the Browns #5 WR so thats what makes it thrilling...

 

 Can you imagine trading in and out of 8 different drafts?

 If you've dreamed of this then the IBL was made for you.

 

 So here goes from Week one where each Board's 12 members play 7 games each week for 12 weeks and then 23 playoff games spread over four weeks, Weeks 13 through 16.

Hello again and welcome to the 2017 IBL(InterBoard League Championship) !!!! The IBL(InterBoardLeague) challenge is eight Fantasy Football Boards with 12 members representing each Board going head to head playing seven games a week, one game against each rival Board to snowball into one of the most exciting, challenging Leagues in the history of Fantasy Football. Eight Fantasy Football Boards each drafting as a 12 Player Team, drafting against seven other Boards and their 84 players/teammates. It's the ultimate challenge to grab values where they fall and to snipe as many of your Board's Sleepers and deep sleepers. Yes, you read that right, Eight different Drafts that all 96 League Members can trade in and out of at will!!! The trading is so fast and furious that there are actually two Trade Threads!!! One for Fleecing your opponents when they have to have their guy. One Thread for trading with your Teammates designed in part not only to document the frenzy that occurs starting usually the last Monday in July with the first three Drafts named A-B-C. Players do not mind over paying to get their Sleeper or Values that fall in every draft so trading is rapid especially the first Monday in August when Drafts D, E and F start so six drafts are going at once!!! Then as the first 'wave' of drafts A, B and C start fading into the late rounds Then, then, then !!! Drafts G and H kick off the monday after D-E-F!!! I'm telling you, those Mondays at 9am EST are like Christmas Day and all the days following are like the College Bowl Season AND the NFL Playoffs all day, every day with 96 players going at it, sometimes right round the clock in all those Drafts!!! Now comes even more fun, more challenge!!! The Regular Season! Every Player plays one game every week for 12 weeks against another Board. Yes, 7 games a week!!!! The Playoffs are when it gets real interesting. Four Tiers of Playoffs with 24 players in each… okay, okay… enough. Let's get to it. In order to pull off something like this we all would like to thank Team Members from all Boards for their vital contributions especially james625, Lab and the ever present KillerFins!!! Let's start with Lab(FS) who supplies us with the besets spreadsheet for standings Evah!!! This guy saves me adding up stuff for 20 minutes every Tuesday and adds in the Playoff Tiers, Scoring, Playoff Standings which also used to take a good hour or so to compile. Sure we still double-check these but wow, I mean WOW!!! This. Is. Huge. Secondly let's go with another one of Fantasy Sharks Team Members 625james, Dude has been all over the place coordinating, chasing, processing trades and anything a League could ask for.   Big HUGE Thanks to Tony Holms' Board Fantasy Sharks for picking up All League Communications when FFLiveWire went down in early Spring!!! I know there's more people playing key parts here and I just cant keep writing and writing when we want to know who is out to an early lead.   Defending Champions Zealots look to defend their Title and no Board has repeated EVER in the IBL. As we dial in our sleepers into our lineups we also have to use our depth as with every Fanasty Football Season there are unfortunate injuries occurring every week. Who woke up the parents??? Fantasy Sharks finally put together an excellent week but so did Leaders Zealots as this is looking pretty 'early' for this kind of separation between Boards. Usually there are a few Boards within 10 games of the top by now but only one, SportsOutlaw, are within 10 games. LW Ronin despite Yoman's League leading 20-1 Record along with FFToday seem to be doing their best to make it a three Board race at the Bottom!!! The Bottom... meh... We have a new leader and my, my, my how they absolutely LAUNCHED themselves to the top!!! SleeperU crushed pretty much thee entire League en route to a HUGE 62 Win Week! After leading Week 1 SleeperU made sure that defending Champions Zealots didn't run away with the Season by rebounding after a tough Week 2 when they only won 34 games while losing 50. This once again proves the "never give up" saying that we all know. Zealots didn't have too bad of of week becoming one of only three Boards to having winning weeks along with SportsOutlaw who normally would be happy with 47 Wins but well SO can take solas i  hanging on to third and remaining within sight of the top spot 14 games back. Meanwhile the bottom five Boards pretty much have driven off the road and into a ditch with out cellphone reception. Yes, its still early but this seems to be between those top three Boards unless the rest of us can shake things up... strangely LW Ronin has the Top 2 Records in the League but are currently tied for 7th Place which um, ah, is really LAST Place. Not to be left out SleeperU put up another 50 win week getting 53 wins just one behind TheHuddle and extended their lead by 5 more games over last year's Champions Zealots also kept grinding with 48 wins. FootballGuys won't be left behind like the Bottom Four Boards though and they got back to their winning ways to stay in the thick of it. It would seem LW Ronin and Communications Host Tony Holm's Fantasy Sharks need to wake up or pretty much do anything that will alter both their falls down below their counterparts in the early going. FFToday also made up a ton of ground on SportsOutlaw and remain a contender. Seems that way as SleeperU in their second year are pretty much obliterating the other seven Boards. It seems that no other Board can put together three straight weeks of winning records and it certainly shows. Yes Boards have been known to flounder this early and as badly as LW Ronin currently are but look at the separation between 1st and 2nd... it staggers the imagination, you couldn't dream this after Six Weeks of play!!! Tony Holms' Fantasy Sharks put together a really nice week to climb out of the cellar and then some... Will the 2017 Season come down to a battle for 2nd Place while SleeperU coasts to a Championship? Can LW Ronin climb out of last place? Two weeks ago the grizzled veterans FFToday were tied for last place and now suddenly while SleeperU have been crushing all the other Boards FFToday finds themselves alone in 3rd place... can they make a charge in the second half of the Regular Season before the Playoffs start Week 13 where EVERYBODY counts, EVERY Team Member, EVERY Game, EVERY Point...??? Stay tuned folks, this aint over yet. . So The Playoffs: Every Board is trying to 'flood' the higher Tiers with as many Players as possible, yes, even though they will play each other. Years ago somebody did an evaluation and it would take 7+ players in any Their to NOT gain Points in said Tier. SleeperU got the big week they needed as usually 75-80 points is a good week and with their 86.5 they probably felt they had a chance to make up ground but FFToday kept pounding away at opponents even though FFToday had plenty of games against themselves. FFToday put up an astounding 99.5 points!!! That has to be some kind of Playoffs Record for Weekly Points??? 99.5 Wow. FFToday is you recall was dead last, 8th place after Week 4 and they started scrambling and putting together one of the best runs ever. Defending Champions ZEALOTS fell to 4th the past few weeks while SleeperU just couldn't gain any ground once the FFToday juggernaut got underway. Fellow players from many Boards this League takes as you can imagine tons of work involving 96 players and 8 Drafts. The IBL thanks MyFantasyLeague for all their help in helping the iBL Techs set up a League like this in the first place!!! And to those tireless IBL Techs we cannot thank you all enough, on top of your duties to your Board you were always working behind the scenes helping the League run smoothly, even have Waivers run automatically instead of manually which took Dan(FFT) approximately 90 minutes to two hours to do in previous years. We can all thank our Board Commissioners and should do so as that is a task in itself. I will bring up some names now that are ABSOLUTELY Vital in set up of this League. Please remember to thank them for their work when you can and remember their endeavor to make this League the best they can possibly make it. 625James, too busy with Life he shared a team with a fellow Boardmate but still found time in the early going when FFLiveWire was down to help get a Communications Forum set up at Tony Holms' Fantasy Sharks and helped immensely in bridging the gaps between Boards and Administration in those early times when things seemed to be hanging by a thread. My heartfelt thanks to you James. Lab, if James had an inseparable sidekick it would be Lab. Lab also helped and played Brian to James' Dom so to speak. Great concept and a lot of fun. I won't have the time for it this year. I was involved in our championship but last year was probably one of my manuretiest drafts ever. Somebody here should step up and bring us back the chip.
