Chief Illiniwek Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 From The News Gazette: CHAMPAIGN – Illinois men's basketball center Shaun Pruitt was arrested early Saturday morning after an altercation with a bouncer at a local bar, but will not face criminal charges. Pruitt, a 6-foot-10, 240-pound sophomore, was arrested at about 12:10 a.m. Saturday outside The Clybourne at 706 S. Sixth St, said Lt. Joe Gallo of the Champaign police. My thoughts: What actually happened was, Shaun tried to cut into line to get in. The bouncer saw that and told Shaun to go to the end of the line. Shaun threw a little fit and spit on the bouncer....twice and then followed with a lady dog slap. The bouncer did not put up with it and had the cops called.
