detlef Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 Dude, I have no idea what you are talking about. I'll try to answer the question I think you are asking. Setting up tiers basically means noting where you think there's a significant drop-off within a position. Perhaps you see Manning, Brady, Palmer, and Brees as the best QBs. While you'd prefer having Manning, you don't really mind taking Brees. However, maybe you would really prefer to have any of them than Kitna, Bulger, etc. Thus, that is a tier. You do the same with all positions. In some cases, the tier may only be one player. Many think that A Gates is pretty much in a class by himself. Thus, he's tier 1 and the next batch of guys are tier two. Doing this allows you to compare between positions. In a perfect situation, as you progress in the draft, you will always be taking one of the last guys available at each tier. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
