theprez
- Yahoo Keeper league - Standard scoring plus 0.5 pts per catch - Standard lineup plus WR/RB flex Here is the starting lineup I have right now: QB - BFavre @ KC WR - RMoss @ Ind WR - BMarshall @ Det WR - RoWilliams @ Den RB - KJones vs Den RB - LTomlinson @ Min TE - TScheffler @ Det WR/RB - ABoldin @ TB K - NFolk @ Phi DEF - Balt @ Pit BENCH - DBrees vs Jax LMaroney @ Ind JNorwood vs SF AJohnson @ Oak SJackson BYE JShockey BYE My questions: (1) Favre or Brees at QB? (2) Roll with Baltimore Def @ Pitt? Is Baltimore still an every week play? Are they dropable??! Some other FA options are: Wash @ NYJ Dallas @ Phil SDiego @ Min Hou @ Oak Tenn vs Car (3) Roll with Scheffler as a bye week TE? Some other FA TE's options are: EJohnson vs Jax JKing @ Tenn WHeller @ Cle ACrumpler vs SF Guess I am a little worried about starting 4 guys in the Denver-Detroit game (KJones, RWilliams, BMarshall and Scheffler) Any thoughts for me?? Thanks!!!
FordFairlane
Brees / Favre is tough. I might take Brees over Favre just because teams that have a short week AND go on the road historically don't fare too well. Arrowhead is a tough place to get a win, no matter who you are. I don't think the Ravens are an every week start anymore, especially against a team that's rolling like the Steelers. I'd probably go with the Chargers against the Vikings. Minnesota's secondary is Antoine Winfield and a bunch of guys named Joe. I have a feeling you'll see SD air it out to Gates and even Tomlinson and build a lead in this game. A.Peterson can always blow up, but the Chargers have a stout run-D, too. Now that they've righted the ship in SD, I might think about the Chargers D the rest of the way. Sheffler is a sneaky TE, but I might like Eric Johnson a little bit more.
