Did I make a bad trade? (see roster first)

First, look at my roster: You can start either 3 WR and 1 RB or 2 WR and 2 RB) 12 TEAM LEAGUE

 

QB - Bulger, Campbell, Warner

RB - Tomlinson, Jacobs, Gore

WR - Chad Johnson, Edwards, Coles, Santonio Holmes

TE - Heap, Lee

K - Folk

DEF - Vikings

 

I just made the following trade:

 

I get: Drew Brees, Chris Cooley, and a scrub player I will cut

He gets: Frank Gore, Laverneous Coles, and Donald Lee

 

Reasoning: Bulger had his one good game this year, but just suffered another lineman injury. He won't make it past the next few weeks, and has thrown in a lot of really, really bad games. Steven Jackson out not helping. Rams playing for nothing. Warner is an injury waiting to happen. Brees, meanwhile, has the Saints only about 1 game back in the division with a very, very easy schedule the rest of the way. His last 3 weeks has been 20 pts, 16 pts, and 32 pts.

 

In addition, Heap has been a huge disappointment. Cooley can only be better.

 

Finally, both Gore and Coles are banged up. Coles is getting a new QB, which could be good or bad, and the 49ers offensive line is pathetic.

 

I immediately dropped Jason Campbell and picked up Reggie Brown as a 4th WR. I think with Mcnabb getting healthy, Brown will start to do what he should have done earlier in the year.

I like that trade as well. Given your starting roster, I think that will improve your team. My question is this:

 

In a 12-team league, how did you get LT, Gore, Jacobs, AND Chad Johnson ??? I'm assuming you have the first pick and took LT. That means you got Gore with the 24th???? And Jacobs or Johnson with the 25th (that's believable) and 48th???
