The wife and I wanted an affordable LCD for the bedroom. We bought the 37" Vizio Saturday. Got everything hooked up and had 1 dead pixel. Called Vizio and they are sending out a tech on Friday with an "upgraded" replacement...free. Couldn't be happier with the customer service. The TV is great too. Hard to beat for the money.

Is the one "dead" pixel easy to find?

It's impossible to see when watching tv. But when there is a blue background (no signal input), it'sfairly easy to see from up close. If the tv were out of warranty, I don't think it would ever bother me. But since it's new, I want it to be perfect.

I'll post here after I get the replacement. But so far the customer service has been great. I've been a Sony man for as long as I've had electronics. Sony could take a lesson from Vizio in customer service. I purchased a rear projection Sony years back. After Best Buy delivered it, there was a problem. Sony told me to take it back to Best Buy and replace. This tv was huge and I had to wait a week before Best Buy brought me a new one.
