delusions of grandeur Posted September 29, 2009 Share Posted September 29, 2009 I'm guessing you have a different team listed below, but if it's PPR, you have another good QB option, and you can get by until Bowe and Welker get back to 100%, then DO IT!. Actually, there is no indication so far that both guys won't be back in action this weekend. Welker is a PPR machine, and Slaton is sure to get it going. The only real risk is Bowe, as Cassel showed us last year that he doesn't like to go deep or really utilize a playmaker like Randy Moss. I'm not sold that Bowe will fair much better, but who cares... You're getting Welker and Slaton, with the chance Bowe could be a homerun hitter too. I've loved Portis, but he's got a lot of miles and is becoming a huge injury risk. Housh could easily turn it around when Hasslebeck's back, but has been a dissapointment (I'm sure i don't have to tell you). So it's really just Warner (who also has some injury risk) that you're trading for 3 potential upgrades over the 2 other guys you're trading. I would definitely do it, especially in PPR.
