soulfly
14 team, PPR, redraft. Start: 1QB, 2WR, 1RB, 1WR/RB Flex, 1TE, K, D I am 1-2 with what I thought was a killer lineup. I can't seem to ever play the correct QB. QB: Palmer, Edwards WR: A. Johnson, C. Johnson, K. Walter RB: K. Smith, C. Benson, A. Bradshaw, T. Choice TE: D. Clark K; Kaeding D: Cincy I proposed a trade that was rejected for P. Manning. I figure that the consistency of Manning could change my season. He countered with P. Manning and T. Owens for Palmer, and A. Johnson. I don't think I can afford that. Am I foolish for not liking this? I am thinking of proposing: Palmer, C. Johnson, A. Bradshaw (He has Jacobs) or Choice for Manning, T. Owens Maybe I am crazy for asking, but do you think I am giving up too much? It would basically be for Manning since I would most likely start Walter over Owens unless necessary. I hate to give up RB depth, especially with Smith hurting, but Manning's points could be worth losing that depth with Bradshaw and potential with C. Johnson. Thanks in advance for the help. At this point I wouldn't touch a deal that involved you giving up Chris Johnson and/or ending up with TO.
soulfly
Sorry. It is Calvin Johnson. I know I would be getting Owens, but I would have to have a body there for bye weeks. I am just not sure if I would be better off looking for a different QB. But it sure would be nice to line up Manning with my team each week. In that case, you;re still giving up too much. Manning is a Stud this year, all things considered, but You dont have enough play room to give up two RB's I dont think. Choice is going to be a great start given that Dallas's backfield is Hurting right now. Though Palmer, Johnson and Bradshaw MIGHT not be too bad. That's still a bit rough. Palmer should put up STELLAR Numbers this week, but that doesnt help you in the long run.

Company of Heroes
I'd try CJ and Palmer for Manning and Owens. I don't think you can afford to give up Bradshaw. -Heroes
