jl8686
I'm in a 2QB league and I'm 3-0 right now despite owning Palmer and Trent Edwards as my QBs (Stafford as a backup), but I don't think they'll be able to keep it up. We start two RBs, 1 WR, and a flex spot. My RBs are MJD, McGahee, Clinton Portis, and Pierre Thomas (and LeSean McCoy and Ricky Williams) and my WRs are Steve Smith, Ochocinco, Colston. (plus Antonio Bryant and Patrick Crayton on the bench). A trade was proposed to me that would get me Matt Schaub for Palmer and Portis, and he also said he would accept Schaub for Edwards and Thomas. I'm leaning towards Edwards and Thomas because I think Thomas isn't quite proven yet and Edwards is more likely to fall off than Palmer, and Portis might be decent again. In case Schaub gets hurt I don't want to be stuck with Edwards and Stafford. Which should I do? A. Get Schaub for Palmer/Portis B. Get Schaub for Edwards/Thomas C. Stay put (I'm leaning against this because I have okay RB depth and Thomas/Portis are only the flex spot) Edited October 3, 2009 by jl8686
homebrewer
call him right now and trade edwards/thomas. you still have good depth at rb and schaub gives you immediate upgrade at qb AND you still get to keep palmer. DO IT and good luck.
