mdaschaf Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 I am thinking about putting in a claim for Mendenhall and dropping Jones..but am not really sold on the idea since JJ gets pretty much all the carries and Parker could return soon. Mello Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) Your thinking right. Depends on how the Steelers use Mendenhall. Try to trade JJ first. See if you can get a 4th WR better than Moore or Harvin for your team. In my 12 team league, I was able to get Steve Smith (CAR) for him. I wouldn't drop JJ though. As you said, he's going to get most of the carries and is going to put up big numbers. He'll be in the top 20 RBs at the end of the year. Mendenhall probably has a higher celing if he were to become the main back in Pit, but that's very uncertain.
