nhmtns
Another solid game for Roethlisberger today. Brees' point totals for the first 5 games: 48, 28, 4, 7, bye Roethlisberger's point totals for the first 5 games: 16, 18, 21, 25, 28 I really can't see benching Roethlisberger the way he's been playing, and next week he's at home against the Browns while Brees is home against the Giants. Thoughts?

vikingsfan11
Yes the Giants number 1 pass defense is a little embellished. While the Giants have only faced 1 team with a winning record(cowboys...the rest are KC/TB/WASH/OAK), the team that they did play, the dallas cowboys, saw their aerial attack get put out early. Romo threw 127 and had 3 picks in a very forgettable performance. The Cowboys vicious running game was able to keep it close, but i do not think that Pierre Thomas/Reggie Bush/ Mike Bell (maybe not even playing) comes close to MB3/Felix Jones/ Tashard Choice. So the saints will have to throw more. When all is said and done i go with the hot hand. Both QB's are studs, and i would ride with the favorable matchup and the hot hand for sure. http://imaginarygridiron.blogspot.com/ i just started this, please check it out, email me your ff questions Edited October 12, 2009 by vikingsfan11
nhmtns
I decided the fist thing I'm going to do is to use Roethlisberger as trade bait to try and pick up a better RB.
qbsacker47
Nah I'd say keep Roethlisberger, with the numbers he's been showing as consistant as they are, he's boudnd to surprise as it gets closer to post-season.
