jl8686 Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 Just got proposed Jason Witten for Donald Brown.(and Brandon Pettigrew but I was going to swap him anyway) Is this a good trade or are there people out there who think Brown will explode into a fantastic RB before the end of the season (and Witten will continue to be unimpressive)? My team: (2 RB, 3 WR, 1 flex) QB: Rivers (Bench: Orton) RB: Maurice Jones-Drew, Cedric Benson, Steve Slaton (Bench: Brown, Jonathan Stewart, Beanie Wells and Jerome Harrison but I think I'm dropping those last two) WR: Reggie Wayne, Dwayne Bowe, Percy Harvin (Bench: Antonio Bryant, Lee Evans) TE: Brandon Pettigrew (changes with waiver wire) D: Changes with waiver wire (Current: Panthers) I think its a good trade since I have a pretty good stable of RBs already even though we play two and a flex spot. Witten has been dissapointing but I've been picking up waiver wire scraps at TE all year (since everyone else drafted two TEs I've been going between crap like Kevin Boss and Brandon Pettigrew and never getting more than 2 points). Double D Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 I would do that trade in a second if I had no TE. Witten will come around. It could be 6 weeks before addai gets hurt and brown takes over but when he does, Brown will be an easy fantasy starter.
