CarbonThief
As commish I have only put two trades up to league vote in 3 years (and this league trades alot). I feel as commish that there are only two cases where I should have the league intervene: 1. When there is collusion 2. When a franchise is giving up. A recent trade occurred last Sunday night: team A-Larry Johnson/Dustin Keller for team B-McFadden/Josh Johnson/Crayton This is a 16 team league and playoffs start week 14. I told the league that as commish I couldn't see why team A (0-4) at the time, would make this trade if he was not giving up. When i called this manager he laughed and didn't have many arguments. I processed the trade and the league approved it. I am simply putting my feelers out there to see what others think about this trade. ronkronk
not sure i see much of a problem with this trade, other then the fact it involves a lot of worthless players - on both ends? who do you see Team A losing, that makes you think they are giving up? buddahj
i don't really see anything wrong with this trade, either.
CarbonThief
I appreciate the feedback. I was curious about a RB that just went under the knife (and plays for Oak), a QB that he doesn't need and a WR that is on a bye week 6. I see LJ with a high ceiling, still playing and getting 18+ carries a game and a TE that still has an opportunity to finish well. I can see both sides I guess, but I was highly speculative. mrip
Seems like one guy got the better deal but considering the players involved I wouldn't be too worried about it. What I would be worried about is how you ended up with such a stacked team in a deep league.
