Looking to strengthen my bench in case Palmer gets hurt. Who has the most upside?

Matt Cassell

Alex Smith

Mark Sanchez

Chad Henne

Marc Bulger

Jake Delhomme

Vince Young

Leaning towards either Cassell or Alex Smith. Smith has looked decent the last couple of games but Niners are a run first team. Chiefs can't really run and will behind often meaning more throws. Will the bye help the offense any?

Appreciate any suggestions.

i'm not sure anyofem are "better" then garrard but if you want upside- sad to say - i'd prolly say smith.

they're a run first team cause for the past few years they haven't had anything else. this season v davis is stepping up, crabtree looks good out of the gate, and every once in a while morgan posts a good game. if smith's arm is back then maybe he'll do something later in the year. of the guys you named that's who i'd go with.
