Take Flight Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 I am in a highly competitive, 14-team league, PPR, 3 keepers per year I am in the thick of the race and looking to deal the underwhelming Forte on high note for a RB with a better playoff schedule (weeks 14-16). My current team is below. If the season ended today I would keep Flacco (and Jackson and Welker) over Forte, so I am in win now mode and not totally worried about getting a keeper for him. Below is my list of targets. In most cases I will probably have to throw in Hicks, which may be too much but as long as my guys stay healthy I don't need him (except for this week when Jackson is on a bye). If I could throw in Brown over Hicks I would, but I'm not sure he has much value anymore with Addai seemingly being an iron man for once. I am about done waiting on Moore to show up as well. Palmer won't really help in any of these cases. Forte + Jermajesty (or Hicks) = Michael Turner (owner just lost Owen Daniels and has only Scheffler as a backup, decent playoff sked, weak at receiver) Forte + ? = Gore (not sure I even have a shot based on this owner's lineup, great playoff sked) Forte + ? = Benson (this owner is out of the race and looking toward next year, weak at receiver, looking to sell Pierre Thomas actually) Forte = Thomas Jones (Jones is having a monster year obviously, not a keeper at age 31...pretty good playoff schedule, owner is basically out of the race) Forte = Addai (having a better year than Forte, better playoff schedule, and I have Brown as handcuff) Forte = Hightower + first round draft pick (AZ has a great playoff sked and in PPR, Hightower has been as good as Forte.) Forte = LT + draft pick (has been solid in recent weeks, nice playoff sked) Thoughts? Any other suggestions? I am thinking the latter options are probably the most feasible, but I'd give Turner a shot first. Thanks in advance for your input! I'll hang up and listen.
