Targeting a stud RB from a first place team

Hi,

 

There is only one team in my league that has 3 top-15 RBs. I want to offer a trade for one of them. They are thin at WR and I think might be willing to part with one of their top 3 RB for a couple of my WR, where i have decent depth.

 

They have at RB: Frank Gore, Thomas Jones, and Chris Johnson. At WR: Breaston, M Wallace, R. White and a bench of sub "60% owned" guys

 

I have at WR/TE (that I am willing to move): Jennings, Mason, L Evans, Garcon, and T. Gonzales.

 

I was thinking of targeting Gore or Johnson for Jennings? Maybe for Mason and Gonzo?

 

Any ideas to make a fair offer?

I highly doubt you'll get Gore or Johnson for anything. Not if this guy wants to remain competitive. Gore is just getting his mojo back, while CJ is the best back in the league in terms of explosive production and overall yardage right now.

 

I think you can get T Jones, though. But you'll have to lose Gonzalez and probably Jennings. But before you give in to something like that, I'd try Mason and Evans. That's fair-two quality WR3 guys for a solid RB2.

 

But really, unless you're willing to give-up a lot, you won't be landing Gore or CJ anytime soon.
