Praying Mantis
I'm in a 14-team PPR league and I lost Owen Daniels for the season. I'm pretty desperate for a TE since the best ones on the waiver wire are Fred Davis and Pettigrew. Another team manager says he needs WRs and wants to know what I'll give up for Tony Gonzalez. I have: Andre Johnson (I wont give him up) Steve Smith (NYG) - don't think I'll give him up D. Mason Roddy White Roy Williams He's pretty desperate for WRs since we start 2 (or 3 if you flex one). His WRs are: Steve Smith (Car) Breaston Ginn Jr. Nate Washington Would offering D. Mason be considered a low ball offer? He and Gonzo have approximately the same points for the season so far. Would I be giving up too much if I offer Roddy White? Sorry for the long message. Thanks for the advice. jordanzs
At this point in time, I think that Mason & Smith are pretty interchangeable. Smith was a stud early on, but now he's nothing special. He's a great sell high player though, as people remember the 1st 4 weeks. Roddy White is a top 10 stud. He's a lot more valuable than either of them. If I lost Owen Daniels, I'd trade Smith or Mason for Tony Gonzalez in a second!
