Jackass
Favre at Carolina: C's D has been good lately, possibly missing Harvin and/or Rice?; Favre's been better at home. Hass home TB: TB's D is not good. Hass is at home. has been inconsistent but not really so much in Sea Smith at Phil: Has been coming on lately. On the road v. Philly not a very good matchup. Thanks. MTSuper7
How is the run defense of each of these opponents? Carolina's run D... not good. Tampa's run D... not good. Philly's run D... pretty good. Just leads me to think that neither Favre nor Hassebeck will need to throw as much to win, and SF is still technically in the hunt for a wild card spot. I agree with your assessment that Favre has been better at home as well. The only reservation I have with Alex Smith is the weather in Philly. But if the weather is decent, Philly ranks 18th in the league in passing yards allowed and 21st in the league in passing TDs allowed. So don't be scared off by their pass defense. SF throws the ball more than every other team except Arizona.

I'm just worried that sometimes the matchup play comes back to bite you in the ass.
