I'm slightly annoyed that Sprint won't be providing a FroYo update for the phone I bought a month ago for no other reason than not wanting to push that much data across their network.

 

Oh well, I guess I have to learn to root sooner or later.

 

Enjoy your update. Oh, also, does it allow your phone to tether?

 

I could tether before the update. but that's another story :wacko:

 

 

ETA: I just checked the settings under Wireless & Networks and there is now a tethering option.

Been rooted for months now, pretty simple to do. I can point you in the right direction if you get interested.
