Need help with a draft strategy (and a draft pick trade)

Hi all,

 

I'm drafting 13th out of 14 and could really use the help developing a draft strategy, especially for the first 4 or 5 rounds. Where do you guys think I'll get the best value?

 

This is a non-PPR, non-keeper league (relevant right?)

 

Starting positions:

QB

RB

RB

WR

WR

WR

TE

K

D/ST

 

BN x6

 

Here are the basic scoring settings:

 

Passing

Every 5 passing yards (PY5) 0.2 TD Pass (PTD) 6

Interceptions Thrown (INT) -2 2pt Passing Conversion (2PC) 2

 

Rushing

Rushing Yards (RY) 0.1 TD Rush (RTD) 6

2pt Rushing Conversion (2PR) 2

 

Receiving

Receiving Yards (REY) 0.1 TD Reception (RETD) 6

2pt Receiving Conversion (2PRE) 2

 

Also, another owner is looking to trade for my Round 2 draft pick (16th overall) and I have no clue what would be a fair (or good) trade. He is picking 6 out of 14, and is hoping for Mendenhall 16th. Whether he gets him or not I don't care, just trying to figure out what I could offer in terms of picks. This would also change my strategy, since I'd have different players available to me rounds 2 and 3.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated,

anyone? I know a 14 team league is not the norm, but any advice you could offer will be very helpful.
