JaxJag
no you should keep stewartyou dont need mike willliams when you have austin, jennings and bowe Thanks for your input. My only thinking is that Slaton covers my ass should Foster not be what he's being billed as. And Stewart looks to start on my bench anyway as I'm going Rice, Foster at RB Bowe at the Flex and Austin and Jennings at WR. It's a close one for me, that's why I appreciate your help. Thanks again. Phantom Knight
My only thinking is that Slaton covers my ass should Foster not be what he's being billed as. NO WAY Slaton covers you better than Stewart. There is a REAL chance Slaton does not even get most of the carries should Foster not get the job done or get injured. So you are giving up - legit potential top-10 rb - potential spot starter wr. In return you are receiving - a risky rb play who is at best serviceable ONLY if you lose a starting rb - a potential spot starter wr (Lee) - a potential wr2 (Williams) Additionally since this in an unbalanced trade - you are getting 3 players for 2, there is the hidden cost of the player you have to drop off your roster to make the trade go thru. I personally am on the Mike Williams bandwagon and to me this trade would be Stewart for Williams plus piece parts. However, I would not trade him for JStew given your roster. I would run as fast as I could from this trade.

With your roster, the only players he has that would induce me to consider trading JStew are AJ, CJ and Vernon Davis. I'd rather have Vernon than Zach Miller, but you have a good TE tandem even though Carlson has not put up numbers in the preason. So the possible improvement of moving to VDavis would not justify moving JStew. The odds of him agreeing to trade CJ or AJ for JStew are slim and none. But if you might try floating something like - JStew with Greg Jennings or Bowe for - Michael Bush and AJ or CJ Should he take it (doubtful in my opinion) you need to hope that Rice and Foster stay healthy long enough for Bush to get healthy and win his starting job back. BeeR
Realize it doesn't add much, just agreeing w/what's posted ie don't do it and for reasons stated.
