I got offered this trade- Kevin Kolb (HIS TEAM) Calvin Johnson Frank Gore for Matt Schaub (MY TEAM) Steve Smith (NYG) Pierre Thomas The rules are 6 pts per TD in every catogory. 1 point per reception (PPR), for every 20 passing yards 1 pt, for every 15 yards recieving yard 1pt, for every 10 yards rushing 1 pt. The format is 2 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF, and 8 bench. This was an auction league. My team looks like this- QB- Rodgers QB- Schaub WR- Steve Smith (NYG) WR- Hakeem Nicks WR- Donald Driver RB- Ray Rice RB- Pierre Thomas TE- Tony Gonzo K- Akers DEF- Jets Bnch- Derek Anderson QB Bnch- Trent Edwards QB Bnch- Jabar Gaffney WR Bnch- Devin Hester WR Bnch- Mike Thomas WR Bnch- Tim Hightower RB Bnch- Reggie Bush RB Bnch- Sidney Rice WR His team looks like this- QB- Kolb QB- Stafford WR- Megatron WR- Mike Williams (TB) WR- Bernard Berrian RB- A.P RB- Gore TE- Jason Witten Bnch- Josh Freeman QB Bnch- Matt Moore QB Bnch- Ahmad Bradshaw RB Bnch- Brandon Jacobs RB Bnch- Leon Washington RB Bnch- Zach Miller TE Bnch- Toby Gehart RB So I counterd with Schaub, Pierre Thomas and Donald Driver for Kolb, Calvin johnson and A.P...He declined obviously. Now I'm thinking of If i should take that offer or offer some other options such as- Schaub, Pierre Thomas and Driver for Kolb, Gore and Driver... Any opinions? He says A.P is not for sale but he is willing to deal. As a eagles fan I'm very worried about Kolb and losing Schaub will be a big blow, will the rest of these guys improve me for losing Schaub? delfamdelfam Posted September 14, 2010 Share Posted September 14, 2010 no, QB's are huge when you have to start two and you have two of the better ones. Without Stafford Johnson won't be much better than Smith and Pierre Thomas is very good in PPR. This is a bad trade for you IMO. I'm thinking if he'll take Schaub, P.T, Driver for Kolb, Gore, Calvin Johnson id consider it but I'm not going to pull the trigger yet. I traded Steve Smith (NYG), Derek Anderson, Trent Edwards and Tim Hightower for Roddy White, Alex Smith and the 3rd overall pick in the supplemental draft which has some good players left on the waiver such as Brandon Jackson, Naanee, Mark Clayton, Eddie Royal, Peyton Hillis, McCluster and more. It left you thin at rb, as now you only have 3 with 2 of them being on NO. But essentially you gave up Steve smith+hightower for white, who is a monster in PPR leagues. Hightower would probably never play unless someone got injured or a bye week. Same with the QB's, neither of them would play except for byes and you can play alex smith then.
