countryroads
So I am a Grant owner and I lost out on Jackson on the WW. My backs are Caddy, Jstew, Bernard Scott and Donald Brown. I have to start at least one. Is there anybody else worth trying to start?
Chris1982
Pretty weak RBs. Hope you are stacked at WR or have 2 stud QBs. Caddy is probably your best bet of the RBs that you named. There's no way Jonathan Stewart keeps getting 5 carries per game anymore. Look for him to gradually get about 40% of the carries within the next couple weeks, and most goal line touches. Right now, Scott and Brown aren't even options.
countryroads
I am pretty good at wr (team in sig). I really hope JStew starts to take off soon cause I really don't want to pillage the rest of my team for a rb.
Chris1982
Kinda curious on your draft strategy. Your top QB is Schaub, your top WR is Fitzgerald and your top RB (was) Grant. None of these players are Round 1 picks in any format. Just wondering who your #1 pick was. I think that's where you went wrong.
countryroads
It is a keeper league, my first year and the team I was left had JStew, Schaub, Wayne and Fitz for keepers. My first round pick was Grant as he was the best rb on the board.
WashingtonD
Stew will be a beast this week, mark my words You'll be fine, if I were you I'd try to buy low on Shonn Greene from that owner, in non PPR, he's going to be a beast the second half of the season, and that owner is likely panicking right now
countryroads
I was wondering about Stew. Maybe I should start a new thread and see what people think about his possibilities this week. Why do you think this week will be better than last? Chris1982
I can tell you right now that Fox was drunk last week only giving Stewart 5 carries, while giving Williams triple that, and only averaging like 3 yards per carry. Give it about 2 or 3 weeks, and it will almost be a 50/50 timeshare. I think they are just gradually working Stewart in to see how his "injuries" hold up and to make sure he's ready to play. ****REMEMBER, he did sit out the entire preseason. countryroads
My issue is I only have to start 1 rb which will be Caddy. I have to decide between M Floyd, S Moss or Stew at my flex spot. Do I take a chance on Stew or go with one of the wrs that will be in the whole game? Chris1982
I'd go with Santana Moss this week, and monitor Stewart.
countryroads
That is what I was thinking. I know Carolina tears the Bucs up but I can't afford to take a chance right now playing one of my division foes.
