Michael Bush for Shonn Greene

Hey guys,

Well, one of our other owners is looking to shop Shonn Greene in our 12 team non PPR non keeper league. I have offered him Michael Bush and he is considering it. Is Greene really that bad? I am hoping I am buying low here, but I am pretty concerned now.

If he declines this trade, I might offer him Tim Hightower instead. Any thoughts on this?

I keep telling myself that the Jets are a running team and Shonn will get plenty of carries, but I'm just not sure if this is a smart play or not.

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

Brock

I don't think you are nuts, but I think the other guy might be. Both backs are in committee situations and both backs share with a guy where injury is a problem. DMC is always nagged by something eventually and LT is OLD.... I would rather part with Hightower because he is the #2 there no matter what Wishenhunt says when Beanie comes back and Bush was announced the starter all off season. With the scheme of the Jets, Greene is much more valuable than Bush in my opinion...

Thanks, Coach.

I honestly did not think he would even look at this trade, but he is considering it. I have this messed up feeling about Hightower, I want to keep him on my team for the future. Beanie is a great player, but I still see Tim stealing some of the thunder.

You are spot on about the committee backfield in either case.
