FF Freak
We know this is only a temporary fix, but some people need fill-ins, due to bye weeks. Who of these two RB's in Philly will be most effective? And Philly homers want to comment?
klambert
Owen Schmitt
FF Freak
He's their fullback, right? I didn't think the Eagles would make Owen the primary ball carrier, because he would beabonding his current role andduties...but a Philly homer would know better than me. klambert
Well, he was the Eagles 2nd leading receiver this past Sunday, and neither Bell or Buckley have shown ANYTHING at all this year. Schmitt may not get as many carries as Bell, but he will get you at least 40-60 yds receiving as he is great catching out of the backfield and probably 5-7 carries as well that could turn into another 30-40 yds with possibly some goal line looks. If I absolutely had to choose between them, I would go with Schmitt. Edited October 5, 2010 by klambert
countryroads
Really, Owen Schmitt! I am a huge WVU fan and would love a reason to put this guy in my line-up if this is for real. I did not see the game Sunday but do you guys really think he has a shot to do something? Please let me know.
FF Freak
I would like to know if this is factual as well, because we can nab free agents after midnight tonight, when waivers clear.
