Need Vick replacement: Hightower for Orten, or WW Bradford, Cassel, Hill

Hi,

 

I'm in a vanilla ESPN.com 12 person standard scoring league. My QB Vick is out so I need a replacement. My options are:

 

1) Trade Kyle Orten (at Baltimore thought) for Hightower (there's a guy at work who tells me he'll make this trade)

2) Make a WW claim for Bradford, Cassel, Garrard, Fitzpatrick, Hill, Kolb, Young

 

My roster follows -- thanks for any advice you have to offer!

 

QB: Vick

RB: Best, Rice, Hillis, Hightower, Kuhn, Blount, Darby, Spiller

WR: Jennings, Megatron, Nicks, Wallace

TE: Zack Miller

D/ST: Giants

K: Vinateri

Im in a similar situation and will be probably be picking up Bradford. I am also thinking about Kolb. Nobody knows who will be the starting qb once vick gets healthy.

 

I don't have the option to get Orton though...

i don't mind giving up Hightower who's useless UNTIL Beanie goes out again..

 

But Orton is playing at the Ravens next week and as a Lions fan, I know the sweet deal Bradford will be getiting. This is a tough call. What about Cassel, does he catch your eye?

Orton is a good deal. Someone like Hightower only has marginal value. If you need help at RB wait for someone to go down and look at their backup. Buzz is starting for GB RB who is on the PUP list. Starx will join the team the 7th week i think and also Blount will be getting more carries in TB now that Lynch is gone. Watch that too. There will be more opportunities to grab a hot RB. just be patient.
