Gives you the option of playing match up with QB's and with Thomas hurt you have another viable option at RB. If this is a rec league Royal even adds more value and the combo. Tripleshot Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 Normally I'm not a big fan of trading one super stud player for a combination of mostly average players, but I might do this trade as well. It upgrades you at QB and gives you some much needed depth with Thomas out(and there's no guarantee he'll stay healthy even after he comes back - the dude is injury prone). Eddie Royal is not a star but he's more than playable and pairs up well with Orton. Although Orton and Hillis were waiver wire fodder in most leagues, they are clearly better than anyone you might get off the waiver wire at their positions and again, upgrades for you.
