Jsquared
I want so much to feel good about starting CJ Spiller. I had to pick someone up off of waivers as McCoy will likely sit, Ronnie Brown has a bye and J.Best is my other starter....I have the option of Spiller, Kuhn from GB, B.Jacobs or T.Hightower....I guess I just have a gut feeling on a big game for CJ...thoughts from anyone? Tyler
I kind of want to start him too but, not sure if I can pull the trigger. I think with your roster its between him and Hightower and I think I'd lean towards Spiller. The potential is there but, its a big question mark. slimshady31
Jsquared, Remember that FJax is the starter now in BUF. Sure, Spiller will get some touches but who knows what the ratio is going to be and seeing how BUF coaching staff wants to ease him into the offense, its tough to know if he'll get 10-12 touches or 5-6. I'd wait a week to see how he gets used more now that Lynch is out of the picture. Most coaching staffs will lean on their veterans (in this case FJax) to provide stability and not turn the ball over. Plus, if JAX gets up by a couple scores, then it might be the Fitzpatrick show and the running game gets abandoned.
PPIchamp
Against that defense, at home, and no more Lynch, I'm starting him in all 3 leagues I have him in, but then again they all do reward return yardage. Although in the least generous scoring league I may start Torain - it takes 50 return yds to get 1 point, 0.5 PPR.
