Manning and R. Moss for Orton, Mathew and Tolbert. So what are my option because I am in last place and have no running game? Worth while trade??? My Team His Team P. Manning Orton B. ynot78 Posted October 13, 2010 Share Posted October 13, 2010 That trade is not balanced. If he wants a #1 QB and a #1 WR he should offer you much more than a #2 QB, #2 RB and #5 RB. Orton has played well so far, but he is unproven as a #1 QB for a full season. They opened something like 5-0 last year as well, and went downhill from there. Your situation at WR doesnt really have alot of options. I'm kinda surprised that he wants Moss, given his depth at WR (and lack of depth at RB). It is probably possible to get a WR in return as well. If he gets Moss he is probably looking to start Floyd, Moss and DeSean. If you get Lloyd or Amendola he still has a good backup. If you are struggling you should consider just riding with Big Ben at QB going forward. That way you could just trade Manning straight up for Gore (but I doubt he will approve). It looks like he wants to gamble on Gore and Chalres staying healthy and just ride with them at RB.
