Muriel23
Scoring and Roster is in my sig, as you can see, I'm a bit plagued this week by injuries and bye's. My concern is at WR. With Floyd and Desean both injured, and the uncertainty of whether DeSean will be the same again after that shot. My questions are: 1. Should I pickup Avant or Steve Smith (CAR) to play this week? 2. If so, who from my roster would you drop for them? 3. Should I bench Jonathan Stewart and replace him with the newly aquired WR in the flex spot? 4. Or can I not afford to drop anyone from my roster to pickup Avant or Smith?
Muriel23
damnit, well I missed my chance on Smith. Someone beat me to him and got him off the waiver, which I didn't realize was ending so soon. So that limits the question to Avant now I suppose. historymike
1. Yes, dump Stewart. 2. Pick up Patrick Crayton off the waiver wire for this week's game, and until the regular SD receivers are healthy. He is poised for a solid week. If he is unavailable, Avant or Danny Woodhead would be good pickups. 3. When you see a stud like Steve Smith on the waiver wire, pick him up ASAP and ask questions later. True, he has been dinged, and the Carolina offense has been positively awful, but Smith is too good to rot on the waiver wire.
Muriel23
So you guys think I should drop Stewart for Avant? None of the other guys you listed are available man. Thanks for your input though I appreciate that.
historymike
Avant is decent for a bye week fill-in, but when DeSean Jackson comes back he will have much lower value.
