BookersB
Both have a week 9 bye and both of their schedules look pretty favorable. Gore- @Car, Den, Bye , Stl, TB MJD- @KC, @DAL, bye, Hou, Cle, Would you make this trade if you owned MJD? Who benefits more?
historymike
If I owned Gore, I would ride him into the FF playoffs. He is getting almost all of the touches, and he has been much more consistent than MJ-D.
BookersB
Yeah i basically want to do the trade for points now, im sitting at 2-4 and cant wait for MJD to pick it up which im sure he will.
historymike
You are deep at WR, and you might be able to package Reggie Wayne for a stud RB, or perhaps MJD-Wayne for Gore and a tier-two wideout if the other owner is hurting at WR (maybe a Collie/Deasean Jackson owner?). White lightning
I would not take MJD for Gore. As a refrense point, I offered L. McCoy AND S. Smith (NYG) for Gore in a PPR league. (McCoy #2 Gore #3 scoring RB) and was turned down. I agree with other poster, you should couple a #2 WR and MJD if you hope to land Gore. BookersB
The guy with Gore lost dallas clark so I could package MJD with keller or watson for gore. Is that giving up too much? He also has pierre thomas who I kind of want. This is non-ppr btw. Edited October 23, 2010 by BookersB
historymike
TEs are a dime a dozen, and I wouldn't lose sleep if I had to throw in Keller or Watson with MJ-D. However, chances are the other owner can find a serviceable TE without trading away gore. I doubt the other owner is going to consider any trade in which he loses Gore AND P. Thomas. If he is still hanging onto Thomas, it is because he is hoping Pierre returns to form and gives him a strong RB#2.

Not exactly the most serious league around.

historymike
Portis for Foster? That s**t is a crime - I would demand a veto call.
BookersB
Yeah I vetoed of course but about 4 of the guys in my league dont even update their teams each week or bother to veto.
