A good trade is whther the upgrade surpasses the downgrade. So ask yourself does it? Can't really give any better advice than that without seeing your roster and any other pertinent info. delusions of grandeur Posted November 2, 2010 Share Posted November 2, 2010 What are the lineup requirements? You'd be leaving yourself with no backup behind Gore and Forsett. Are you really comfortable with that? Yes, you could use a bit more WR depth and maybe even a potential starter in Dez if you start 3 WRs, but unless you can land another free agent RB, I'd be hesitrant to leave yourself with no backup RB. Oh, forgot you'd be getting Jacobs, so you wouldn't be completely thin at RB, but it's definitely a downgrade with only being required to start 2 WRs, but being able to start up to 3 RBs, at which you've got 3 good ones right now. You might have more options for your flex, but the downgrade from your 3 starting RBs to Jacobs and those options is fairly significant. I'd strongly consider dropping Gonzalez for McCluster.
