I've never met Heather personally, but I know her mom and, especially, her mom's fiance pretty well. the whole ordeal has been so heartbreaking...thinking the breast cancer was gone, and then finding it in her spinal fluid. shortly after hearing the "nothing more we can do" prognosis, the news came that she was getting married. struck me a little weird at first, but I've seen firsthand how it brought a glimmer of joy to one of the darkest situations imaginable. that is a good thing any way you slice it. local news story Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Azazello1313 Posted February 2, 2012 Author Share Posted February 2, 2012 How much does he stand to inherit? a single mom who contracted breat cancer in her early 20s? yeah I'm not really seeing that as a motivation. my first thought was that maybe they were trying to do something about the future of the kid, but I am actually pretty sure it was just something done out of love to bring light to a dark situation. One of my employees is recovering from prostate cancer, two others were diagnosed last year.
