Nice keeper dilemma, but...

All,

Seeking opinions. My draft is still several weeks away, but I've got a pleasant dilemma brewing (one that I've been fretting over ever since Andy Reid was hired by KC - LOL)!

In our league we get to retain 2 players from last year's final roster as keepers for the upcoming season. Due to our scoring system (see signature block, below), I've retained one Mr. Aaron Rodgers ever since he took over from that "othe guy" in GB, and to-date, he has never disappointed. Although, keeping him in seasons past was really a no-brainer for me.

This year, however, I have several other options, as my 2012 final roster pool included the aforementioned Mr. Rodgers, Doug Martin, and Jamaal Charles (and I guess I could even throw-in David Wilson if I really wanted to, but I don't think he's a real consideration at this juncture). Before Reid entered the picture, I was pretty much set on Rodgers and Martin as my 2013 keepers, but now that Andy is in charge, I think the sky's the limit for JC...

Of course I've read all the hype about JC and the comparisons to Brian Westbroook (in his prime) and LeSean McCoy, etc. and think his PPR #s will be really solid out of the RB position. However, with what I've read, I am slightly concerned about his TD potential.

As for Martin, everyone knows he is the undisputed "stud" RB in TB, with no competition, so his yardage and TD production shouldn't be a concern. Unless..........................he encounters the dreaded "sophmore jinx"...

We all know about what Mr. Rodgers consistently brings to the table, year in and year out...4,000+ passing yards and 35-40 passing TDs, plus several running TDs to boot. His TD production under my league's scoring system is HUGE!

Anyway, what do you think for which 2 of these 3 I should keep this season? Also, whichever one I decide to "throw back" into the pool, I'll probably try to trade before the draft for a high draft pick or picks, so which combination (i.e., 2 keepers and one tradee) will give me the best value for a higher draft pick or picks?

All honest, logical feedback is most welcome and appreciated.

Thanks in advance for reading and responding...

P.S. - I finished 3rd last season, so I'll be starting the draft out of the (3rd round, as the first 2 rounds or 20 slots are for keepers) 3/8 position, then 4/3, etc...

slightly confused by this.

either way keep charles and martin.
