FishFreak
Not to put more gasoline on the fire but many players have spoken out about the Pats cheating tactics now that they have been officially busted. I found the Eagles comments regarding the SB very interesting. They mentioned how well the Pats were calling plays to offset their blitz packages in the 2nd half with perfect screen plays. If you recall, the Pats O was shut down completely in the 1st half by the Eagles D. In the 2nd half their O couldn't be stopped. Now other comments were made as well by other teams and players and could easily be sour grapes but you have to wonder how long has this been going on and how much of an advantage this could be. Just think about how many times the Pats coaching staff has been credited with making great 2nd half "adjustments" over the years and easilty being credited as the best in the business. Personally, I can't stand the Pats for obvious reasons but I acknowledge they are a great team with great coaches. BUT it's hard for me to give them as much credit now because of all the doubt this cheating creates. Maybe they are just very good and frequently break the rules to get that "edge" on their opponents.
