nimal
What is the general consensus of Ryan Torrain? Is he eventually going to be a full-time starter in Denver? What is the word out of Denver, how is the Elbow healing? When is he scheduled to return? is he worth owning right now? DISCUSS
i_am_the_swammi
Most recent blurb from the Denver Post has him on schedule, and ready to return during the Broncos Week 8 bye week for practice, and to make his NFL debut Week 9 at home versus the Dolphins. Many expect him to take over the full-time RB duty, pointing to Shanny's decision not to put him on IR....people feel Shanny wants to use him this year, as he is perfect for their system. From the Post two weeks ago: The Broncos' offense looks stout now with Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal, Tony Scheffler, Selvin Young and Andre Hall as the top threats. Imagine how potent the offense can become if rookie running back Ryan Torain returns to play as the Broncos believe he can. Torain said Thursday his dislocated elbow injury will take the full three-month term for recovery, meaning his return would come during the bye week, after Game 7 at New England. He was injured August 6. He has been riding a stationary bike at least 30 minutes a day, and even without the use of his left arm, he has been following an arduous weightlifting routine.
