burton
Ravens say Ray Rice only has knee contusion Coach John Harbaugh referred to Ray Rice's knee injury as a "significant" contusion. It's believed Rice avoided a sprain, as an MRI confirmed no damage to any of his knee ligaments. The Ravens square off with the Steelers in Week 4, however, which isn't going to be an ideal situation for a running back playing at less than 100 percent. The good news is Rice, at most, would miss no more than one game and ideally be at full speed for Week 5 against Denver. Found this as well: Baltimore Sun: Rice could play Sunday, Harbaugh says Ravens running back Ray Rice has a "significant" contusion and could play Sunday against the Steelers in Pittsburgh, coach John Harbaugh said today at his weekly news conference. Rice left Sunday's game with about 10 minutes to play in the fourth quarter with a knee sprain during the Ravens' 24-17 win over the Browns.
